- The high-tech Learning Resources Centre, right next to HIBT, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with 2,600 study places, the majority with computer workstations and half a million volumes in the library.
- The new £15 million Hertfordshire Sports Village has amongst the best facilities in the UK and is built to Sport England Standards. Here students benefit from an ultra modern gym, swimming pool, sports hall, all weather pitches and a climbing wall.

- The Students’ Union – this newly refurbished facility on the College Lane Campus provides students with a place to relax and unwind and socialise with friends. There is also a cafeteria, a well stocked shop and a venue which is frequently used for concerts and other live acts. There are also a wide variety of clubs and societies which students can join. From sports and martial arts clubs, to religious and political groups, there is something for everyone at UH.

All students who pass their course will automatically progress to the chosen pathway at the University of Hertfordshire.

Students who pass their coursework and examinations may enter directly into their chosen pathway at the University of Hertfordshire.
Do any GPAs apply for articulation to Year 2? Is IELTS required for entry to Year 2?
Students need to pass all their academic coursework and examinations, as per the requirements of their program. If English for Academic Purposes is part of a student’s program of study they will have to achieve appropriate passes to progress. Once a student has satisfied these parameters there is no onward English language testing or IELTS required to enter the University of Hertfordshire at any level, inclusive of Year 2.
