Orientation and enrolment

The HIBT Orientation Programme is always held on the Wednesday before semester commences (date and time on your Letter of Offer). Attendance is compulsory. The Orientation covers matters relating to your study at HIBT such as Enrolment, facilities, procedures and support services.

Please bring your passport and Letter of Offer with you. At Orientation you will be issued with an Orientation Pack containing the HIBT Student Handbook, course and unit information, booklists and other important information.

Enrolment will take place following the Orientation session. At HIBT enrolment and unit selection is completed through the my HIBT student portal via the website. You will be required to complete your personal details, such as address, visa details etc. before going on to select the units you will study in that semester.

HIBT office hours

HIBT is open Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm. The office is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Services and facilities

At HIBT, we offer a range of services and facilities to meet your personal as well as academic needs. As a HIBT student, you have access to facilities and services provided by HIBT and the University of Hertfordshire. Services include: English and study support, student counselling and health services. Facilities include: library, bookshop, cafeteria, recreation and sports, and computer facilities.
